Erklärung zur Barrierefreiheit

Zuletzt aktualisiert am 18. August 2026

We want this site to be usable by everyone looking for a home, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard alone, magnification, or a device set to reduce motion. This statement sets out where the site stands, honestly, including what is not yet right.

Conformance status

This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. It is currently partially conformant: most of the site meets that standard, and the exceptions below are known and listed.

We say partially rather than fully on purpose. A previous version of this statement claimed conformance the site did not have, and we would rather understate than repeat that.

What has been done

  • Every image carries alternative text written for the language you are reading in, not machine-translated.
  • The site works in six languages, and Hebrew is laid out properly right-to-left rather than mirrored as an afterthought.
  • The image viewer on a property page can be operated entirely from the keyboard: it takes focus when opened, moves with the arrow keys, closes with Escape, and returns focus to where you were.
  • Interactive controls are real buttons and links, so they work with assistive technology and respond to the keyboard.
  • Controls on touch screens are sized to be hit reliably, and the site does not scroll sideways at any width we test.
  • Where a device asks for reduced motion, the hero stops animating and transitions are removed.
  • Fonts are served from this site, so text renders without waiting on a third party.

Known limitations

We are aware of the following, and list them rather than leave you to discover them:

  • The map on a property page is Google Maps, the 360° virtual tour is operated by IN3, and appointment booking is provided by Cal.com. That content sits inside our pages but is built by those providers, and we cannot correct its accessibility. Where a tour is difficult to use, contact us and we will walk you through the property directly.
  • The virtual tour is a visual panorama with no non-visual equivalent. If that is a barrier, ask us and we will describe the property or arrange a guided walkthrough by video.
  • Colour contrast and visible focus indicators have been designed for but not yet confirmed by a formal audit across every page and both themes, so we do not claim them as verified.
  • Property descriptions are editorial prose supplied in six languages; occasional phrasing may not read naturally when spoken by a screen reader.

How this was assessed

This statement is based on a self-assessment carried out in August 2026 by the team building the site, not on an independent audit. It combined automated checks across every page in English and Hebrew at three screen widths — looking for missing alternative text, unreadable text sizes, controls too small to hit, and content overflowing the screen — with manual keyboard testing of the property gallery. Contrast ratios and focus indicators were not measured, which is why they are listed above as unverified. An independent audit is the natural next step.
